Yes, I know how incredibly awesome and creative that title is... as well as the blog name. On the other hand keeping things simple always seems to work out better in the long run. Besides, I think I probably introduced enough strangeness and confusion by starting the URL name for this with Pope-Moses. That is simply a long running nickname with no really clear cut explanation in and of itself. I answer to Moses more often than my actual name, whether or not that makes any sense.
I'm in Mass Comm for the sake of doing web design, and actually this semester the class I'm currently blogging for is the only one that is really actively moving me toward that goal rather than just playing filler or serving simply to complete requirements. That isn't to say I don't think the other classes will end up being interesting, but they probably won't spark quite as much interest as this one. Let's hope I don't end up eating those words... or at least hope that I don't have a class become a time vampire and suck the soul out of the rest of my classes and projects.
Right now I'm running two websites, one for a nursery and one for an appraisal firm, and I'm redesigning the one I've made for myself. Hopefully that one will benefit from this class since right now I just keep using it for strange experiments and haven't even bothered to buy hosting for the domain name yet. I also have an account at DeviantArt where I randomly ramble in the journal, though more often post actual artwork.
This is my third year at CSU Pueblo, I won't pretend that it was my first choice in universities when I graduated from high school but now that I've actually been here I love it and have no real desire to transfer. In the long term after I graduate I would like to do web design, hopefully on my own, but after working with the Today at this school I would be completely open to doing layout design for print media as well. No real concrete plans which is probably how it should be. Being certain of things makes it too easy to be wrong.
